Hi! My name is Jenna Hill and I am 16 years old. I am a sophomore at Camden Hills Regional High School. I live in Rockport,  a quaint little town in Mid-coast Maine. I am an avid cyclist, I am active in the theater, and I  enjoy vintage clothing, politics, and needle felting.
For the past few years, biking has been a big part of my life. This year I am ready to take on something really big - a charity ride across the United States.
The ride will begin near the misty beaches of Oregon – climbing and descending  the Rocky Mountains , riding along through wooded forests, amber waves of grain, endless cow pastures, and barren plains - literally from sea to shining sea. The ride will take me through Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and along the Great Lakes to Niagara Falls. In the final leg of the trip we will follow the Erie Canal bike route across NY to the Hudson River and a short 150 miles to New York City.  From start to finish, the trip will take me 3800 miles, but the real journey will take me so much farther.

This will be an adventure for me, but more importantly, this ride will give all of us the opportunity to do something amazing -  to bring a wish to a special child with a life-threatening illness. So, needless to say, I will not be riding alone.  I will have that special person on my mind each and every day along with each and every one of you who have given so generously to me and my dream.
